DIY Christmas Photo Backdrop and Props

Christmas, Christmas time is near

Time for toys and time for cheer

We’ve been good, but we can’t last

Hurry Christmas, hurry fast!

With the way the social media craze is, it’s almost necessary to capture the best moments on camera to share with family and friends.  One cool and festive way to capture the moments is to create a DIY Christmas Photo Backdrop.

I created one for my family this Christmas and it was loads of fun! It was a hit with both the children and adults! It was super simple to create this DIY Christmas Photo Backdrop!

All you need is:

  • Long roll of Christmas wrapping paper
  • Tape
  • Dowels
  • Props (and printed images and words)
  • Poster Boards
  • Glue Stick
  • Scissors
  • Color Photo Printer

I found a collection of printable Christmas props at Elegance and Enchantment that were spot-on for my photo shoot. I also found some random images around the web that were suitable for a fun family Christmas photo shoot.

  • Print Images
  • Glue the images to the poster board
  • Cut them out
  • Attach dowels to images
  • Tape the wrapping paper to the wall
  • Get to Snapp’n

Have fun with it!!       Silly Faces & Crazy Poses make the best and most memorable pics!

Here are a few shots from Christmas Day 2015

Merry Christmas to you & yours,
Dannielle

Thanks for Sharing!

Special “Thanks” to my family!
